The DeVille brothers are an interesting trio. Francis and Joseph seem to have many more hang-ups about humans than Christian. Christian is the most likable of the three. Heidi is a bit sheltered and naïve, but does not lack courage or intelligence. The plot is interesting and exciting in parts, and I enjoyed the author's take on the vampire genre. If the characters were fleshed out a bit more the story would have been even better.
