If he fails, much more than his life is at stake, for Incendin has stolen the artifact and plans to use its power for unknown destruction.

I've read all three of the first books. Book one and two were rather intriguing but on book three I ended up just skimming through the paragraphs so I could be finished. Almost everything falls too conveniently right into place for Tan. The magical shaping powers become too much to follow and it was confusing too me. Maybe the other books in this series pull the whole shaping concept together, but I don't think I'll read them to find out. I've given the trilogy an okay rating because it wasn't a bad read, but definitely not a good one.Product details

I really enjoyed Books 1-3. It was really easy to get into the main characters. The book is filled with excitement, romance, and unending action. I can not wait to read Books 4-7.
Read the 1st of 3. It was ok but didn't engage me enough to continue
a good filler read. Good for young readers starting into fantasy series. Author is a bit redundant in setting the scene and character building, but once the action gets going he takes off like "fire"
I appreciate the hours of enjoyment I have gained from reading this saga. D K Holmberg has written a great story filled with fascinating concepts and characters. I have thoroughly enjoyed the mind twisting themes and the notion of shaping with the elements and elementals, loved the Nymid and the Draasin. An excellent read. Thanks D K Holmberg, I look forward to reading more of your captivating writing.
I really liked the books. I had a hard time putting them down. There were some good character studies, and twisted plot. Even some unexted things happening - I Like it that way. I like it when I can't figure it out beforehand. Good writing. Keep it going!
Another fantastic series by DK Holmberg. I've read lots of his books and am intrigued each time. This series centers around a young man, Tannen Minden, who is from a small village in a beaucolic setting. He spends his days hunting just like he did with his father before he was killed in the war. His mother wants him to go to the university, but he is content to while away his days in nature. But, before he knows it, he is drawn into a terrible and vicious new war, and he discovers he has power beyond his wildest dreams. There are additional books in this series that continue the story of Tan and Amia (his girlfriend) and Tan's cousin, Elle.
D. K. Holmberg is an amazing story teller. He has many different series out there. The ones I've read are each unique enough to have been written by different authors. They things they all share are fanatics characters, fast paced story lines, and engrossing plots that are completely spellbinding. Young Tan has lived a reclusive life until a group of wanders and a warrior converge on his home. With them comes information from the past and change for the future. Danger, questions that need answered, and protection for his loved one lead Tannen on a journey that will bring him to learn and use abilities he was unaware he possessed. It will also lead him into battle against a mighty enemy. If he cannot figure out how to master his abilities and find the answers to what his enemies are trying to accomplish all could be lost.
